Tolerance compensation in assembly and maintenance without time-consuming and cost-intensive methods often mean using shims or spacer plates. Georg Martin GmbH manufactured various different designs in this product group: so-called shims.

A differentiation is made between different product groups:

• Laminum®: spacer compensation elements in the form of peelable laminated shims using own starting material manufactured by Georg Martin.
• Lamisol®: the product here is a solid shim which is produced to geometrically fit the required position
• Lamivario®: this comprises packed or bundled shims which are loose or bonded together, whichever way the user would prefer.
• M-Tech®F: precision foils and semi-finished products in the form of metal tapes and metal blanks. This makes it possible for the customer himself to create the shim required for tolerance compensation.
