M-Tech®F and foil tape are metal foil tapes and sheet blanks in various thicknesses from 0.01 mm to 1.0 mm. They come in three materials: brass, stainless steel and mild steel. M-Tech®F is the simplest form of the M-Tech® shim product group. However, the materials are also suitable for many other applications.

Variants
Self-adhesive combinations or combinations with different dimensions are possible. Upon request it may also be possible to use other types of materials; we would also be willing, under certain conditions, to carry out a specific request.

Scope of product definition
The M-Tech®F and foil tape products are intended to be shaped by the user himself. They can be used for tolerance compensation and are designed to be adapted for the joint on-site by means of measuring and testing. M-Tech®F is the flexible basic M-Tech® variant and can be used in many different ways. However, M-Tech®F products are not peelable.

The thickness of the material corresponds in each case to the thickness tolerances stipulated in the corresponding DIN Standards.

Manufacturing methods
The foils and blanks are cut to size and packaged in a modern production process. This ensures that the products meet corresponding requirements regarding the quantity and handling of the materials.

M-Tech®F metal blanks and metal foil tapes can be used in a large variety of ways:

• cladding for building and model-making
• semi-finished product and in many other ways.

Handling
M- Tech®F and foil tape can be processed both by machine and also manually with various different separation tools.
Manually: M-Tech®F special scissors for materials of up to a thickness of 0.15 mm, otherwise cutters for corresponding material thicknesses.
Using machines: it is possible to work on the products by stamping, nibbling, with laser, by water-jet cutting, milling or eroding; the Fein company (Fein UBS1.6 ©), for example, offers sheet nibblers and sheet scissors.
