Precision foils are machine elements which are used in the form of semi-finished products to compensate tolerances in assembly and maintenance.

These foils – available either rolled or as blanks – can be shaped into the required form with the help of conventional separation tools, thereby producing a technical shim.

Fine adjustment work can be carried out by laying as many of these precision foils – cut accordingly – on top of one another as are necessary in order to reach the required distance.

Dimensions range from 150mm width and thiknesses from 0.01 mm to 1.00 mm.

We offer Precision foils from the M-Tech®F series in the following properties:

• Brass
• Mild Steel
• Stainless steel

Additionally, for most of our products, self-adhesive variants are available. If you need other precision foils than the available, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

For clientspecific foils and blanks, in our sections Laminum®, Lamisol® and Lamivario®, we cut blanks according to your drawings. These offer you other than that mentioned laminated or peelable precision foils as well.
