Precision foils are machine elements which are used in the form of semi-finished products to compensate tolerances in assembly and maintenance.
These foils – available either rolled or as blanks – can be shaped into the required form with the help of conventional separation tools, thereby producing a technical shim.
Fine adjustment work can be carried out by laying as many of these foils – cut accordingly – on top of one another as are necessary in order to reach the required distance.
Customers can choose to have these products in different thicknesses, from 0.01 mm to 1.00 mm, and in any of the following three materials: brass, mild steel, and stainless steel.
