The design of the tools and the adaptation of the part geometries are carried out by an internal design department. The 3D CATIA workstations installed there are supported by CAM systems in our own toolmaking department. These capabilities enable us to provide optimal support for our customers’ product ideas.
Our partners carry out various further processing steps for the strip-punched parts, such as surface treatment and heat treatment processes.
Variants
Pure strip-punched parts:
For two-dimensional workpieces, in addition to the usual conventional tool sets, tool systems are also used that can manufacture non-part-specific products. This means that special machining centres and nibbling technology can also produce small batch sizes without tooling costs.
Materials:
Various ferrous and non-ferrous materials are processed for pure strip-punched parts.
These include various aluminium alloys, copper-tin alloys and laminated sheet materials.
Stamped and formed parts:
Various press systems are available for small to large batch sizes. Starting with single and double-column presses from 400 kN, transfer press systems with up to 4000 kN can also be used.
Materials:
Various strip steels are used. Grades such as temperable or micro-alloyed material are also possible.
