Align machines

Metallic fitting elements represent a significant part of our expertise. Adding or removing thin elements can simplify the alignment of machines or adaptation to plant components.

Different materials and material types – i.e. material combinations and laminates – increase the application benefits.

A targeted selection for consultation by our sales team increases user benefits in terms of:

  • Reduced assembly time for machine alignment
  • Optimised product selection reduces part prices
  • Determining order quantities enables optimum pricing

Variant
Different materials can be used:

  • Brass (CW505L/ 2.0265 and CW508L/ 2.0321)
  • Stainless steel (X5CrNi1810/ 1.4301)
  • Unalloyed steel (CK10E 1.0330 and 1.0338)
  • Aluminium 99.5 (EN AW-Al99.5 / Al99.5 F15 [3.0255.32]) – only for M-Tech®L
  • Aluminium AlMg3 (EN AW-AlMg3 / AlMg3 F32 [3.3535.30]) – only for Laminum®/M-Tech®L

Types of material for aligning machines using shims:

  • Lamisol®/M-Tech®S: solid sheets processed into customer-designed parts
  • Laminum®/M-Tech®L: fully laminated peelable laminated sheets
  • Lamivario®/M-Tech®V: a combination of Lamivario® and Lamisol®. Loose bundles or products bonded to the edge (perimeter) of the parts (tear-off calendars) or lamination of different materials.
  • M-Tech®F: Precision strips, blanks and films in smaller quantities. In standard formats or in dimensions tailored to customer requirements, depending on feasibility.

Dimensions
Thicknesses: 0.01 mm to several millimetres (possible thicknesses depend on the type and size of products)

For drawing parts:
Part sizes (e.g. diameter): from approx. 5 mm to approx. 1.2 m (confirmation upon request).

For precision strips and semi-finished products:
Standard up to 2500 mm in length with widths of 150 mm. Dimensions deviating from this must be determined on request.

Delimitation
These are not machine elements that can compensate for height differences using threads, motors or cylinders.

Manufacturing method
Punching and laser cutting. A detailed overview for purchasers and technicians can be found in the batch sizes from 1 piece to large series. In addition to combinations of non-part-specific tools, punching tools are also used. All laminations and bonding of parts are carried out in-house.
